What we treat

Frequently asked questions

How often can I have it?

Usually weekly. Same area not more than twice in a week to give tissue time to settle.

Is dry needling the same as acupuncture?

Same needles, different framework. Dry needling targets specific muscles based on anatomy. Acupuncture uses traditional Chinese meridians.

Does it hurt?

You feel the needle go in but it's brief. The 'twitch response' from a trigger point can feel weird but isn't usually painful.
